"Treasures of the UAE" Art Competition 2015


The SMCCU Fourth Annual Art Competition "Treasures of the UAE" 2015  winners have been announced! Each school coordinator has received an email with the list of this year's winners. Congratulations to all of our participating artists for submitting your beautiful depictions of the UAE's historic sites.  Our judging team said the pieces this year were exceptional and winners were  chosen across all age categories. We would like to thank the more than 53 schools who participated this year, and our judges from the Emirates Fine Arts Society.

The Details 


24 winners are selected by The Emirates Fine Arts Society and winners will have their artwork printed in a special edition ‘Treasures of the UAE Calendar’ 2016 and they will be invited to the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding for an honorary celebration on 2nd December 2015. All winners will have their artwork displayed in a ‘Treasures of the UAE Exhibition' at our traditional heritage house in the Historic Al Fahidi District of Dubai from 2nd December 2015 to 2nd January 2016. Entry into the competition must be arranged through your School or College. 
The 24 winners will take home a fantastic prize worth up to AED1,000.
In addition to this, all winners will receive a voucher from the SMCCU for a complimentary Cultural Lunch for for two.
