When the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Centre for Cultural Understanding was established back in 1998, it was our volunteers who supported our cultural awareness mission! Under the motto “Open doors. Open minds”, we have opened our doors to share the Emirati culture and traditions, as well building bridges of understanding amongst the people living in the UAE.

By volunteering at SMCCU, you can also support this message of tolerance and understanding that the Centre aims to spread and help pass on the Emirati heritage.

You can join our daily programs in Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood, Jumeriah Mosque and Majlis, and during our events.
